Simon Iddol X Wacom
When I started to doodle daily back in 2021, my only aim was to practise and create a strong visual language for a book. That book haven’t been made yet. But I made an another one, I did more than 400 pictures and on the top of all that Wacom asked me to be their international ambassador. Pretty wild ride it was.
I started to work with Cintiq Pro 16, and later I also got a Cintiq Pro 27 to work with. I made 14 painting (and several videos) so I think it’s a nice milestone to look back.
Yepp, if you click on the pictures you will get to the product pages to get more information about them and also you can buy thems.
This was the very first painting I’ve finished on the Cintiq Pro 16. It’s a small and cute and shinny A3 piece.
Probably my favourite piece of the series.
An enormous oversized painting with a heart warming message!
This is a reminder to choose your game smartly if you wanna race with the big boys.
The first picture with the mighty Cintiq Pro 27. I really love the message :)
This painting has a really bad and a really good background story. The good one is a nerdy thing. This was made with my beloved Fresco, since I got a borrowed Windows PC back then I was able to test Fresco with the Cintiq Pr 27 and it was pure heaven for me. (Fof some reason Adobe has no Mac version of Fresco)
The sad background story is just too sad…
Another Fresco piece, another oversized beauty, another fave. In my opinion it’s an epic sci-fi battle scene, the bears in the middle of the fight with the evil to save us.
The title says it all, and I stronly believe the hidden message is correct :)
The small A3 piece from the Hungarian behind the scenes video.
The magical piece from the English behind the scenes video.
A few weeks ago I’ve found a dodgy workaround to smuggle Fresco pieces to my Mac. If I create the background on my iPhone, I can open the cloud files on Mac in Photoshop and I can finish them on my beloved Wacom Cintiq Pro 27. Not the best solution, but I had to try.
Another iPhone/Fresco/Photoshop/Wacom hybrid. Ladies, the message is evergreen!
The last iPhone/Fresco/Photoshop/Wacom hybrid, since there will be a hopefully better workaround to use Fresco on Mac. Till then God and his transparent dog are visiting hell for some important business …
szoftver.hu gave me a totally normal office laptop PC to test Adobe Fresco on Wacom tablets in normal everyday confitions. the result is a flawless experience what almost anybody can recreate. you don’t need zillion dollar toys to make awesome art. your currrnt laptop + entry level drawing tablet + a good software = awesomeness
these cats just wanna hide in the bushes and have sex all day.
