new sketchbook
Starting a new sketchbook is always a milestone, but the fourth one (May - July) was something really special. first of all because of the format change. The previous small size is perfect for quick doodles and rapid reminderish sketches, but the bigger format mean more time and mor effort and more responsibility afterall.
It took me time to get used to it, and I was not sure at the beginning. But a challenge like this is always good, and after forcing myself to focus and keep drawing a daily routine finally I started to feel the bigger sheets.
With all that said, I start a new sketchbook tomorrow and I kept the format. Size does matter.
If you think about getting a sketchbook I highly recommend these Maruman books, the paper is really good, great for pencils, watercolor and acrylic either.
