Joakim delivers one of the best EPs of 2021, but this is not even a surprise. 4 “club” mixes of new tracks from Joakim’s forthcoming album Second Nature, all re-mixed by the man himself, navigating between hypnotic Techno, trance-inducing Downtempo and percussive New Beat.
How ever the cover is a nice surprise and it’s equally brilliant. Does the photo looks familiar? Yes, it’s that selfie, taken by a monkey after he stole the camera of British nature photographer David Slater.
